November Tag and Caddy Class

Hey Stampers,

The only day that I can schedule the Tag and Caddy Class is Wednesday, November 17. I need an RSVP for this class by the 12th so I can order the needed amount of glue sticks. There is a picture of the project in the Online Open House Slide Show that I posted previously. You should be able to find it by scrolling down and clicking on the slide show picture. I will be up late so, if you can't come at the very beginning, please still come. This project shouldn't take as long as some of the other recent class projects. The class fee is $10 but you can receive a 50% discount if you make a minimum purchase of $25. All supplies will be provided but, if you have a pair of paper snips you may want to bring them just in case. There will be no class in December. Hope to see ya soon!

Fall Open House/Fall Boutique

I am combining my Fall open house with the Boutique that I took part in last week. If you were unable to come to the Boutique you may view all of my projects and products that I had on display in a slide show here on my blog. I don't have time to have a come and see open house so it will be an ONLINE OPEN HOUSE. I am having a drawing for a nice package of products worth more than $70. You will be entered in the drawing for every $50 you spend. The deadline for the drawing will be on the 30th.

Starting on Tuesday, there will be some bundle specials that Stampin' Up! will be offering. You can check them out on the customer website on Tuesday and I will be posting a flyer about the specials on my blog that day. Please order directly through me and not through the customer website. All bundles are 20% off.

I also have a CLASS coming up on the 27th. We will be making 3 Christmas Cards for $10.00. I need an RSVP for this class by the 24th. Pictures of the cards will be in the slideshow and I will try to mark or label them somehow.

Please contact me through my email, facebook, or by phone if you have any questions.

Thanks!

New Home Decor and Paper Crafting Classes!

I'm going to start holding monthly classes on the third or fourth Wednesday or Thursday of the month. The fee for these classes will be around $10. There will be different projects from month to month and they will be a little more simple than club projects. There is no purchase requirement as there is with club, but if anyone wants to place a $25 order, the class fee will be waived. The fee is due at the door and an RSVP at least 5 days prior to the class will be mandatory. They will be held at my home and will start at 7:00.

For the August Class I will be offering 3 Washer Necklaces for $10. Everything will be provided, but if you have some paper that you would like to use then feel free to bring it. I will be posting some pictures when I get some finished (hopefully by Saturday.)

For the September Class we will be making 3 paper holiday luminaries for $10. Again, I will post pictures when I get them finished.

For the October Class we will be making 3 holiday cards for $10. Pictures will come later.

For the November Class we will be making lots of gift tags for $10. You guessed it, pictures will come later.

Please bring friends, neighbors, sisters, etc. Please RSVP for them as well.

New promotion for August!!!

Hey Everyone,

There is an awesome promotion for hostesses in the month of August! When your workshop reaches $350 you get an ADDITIONAL $25. So, not only do you get a free catalog, a gift from me, a level one or two set from the catalog, the $40 you normally get at the $350 level but you get another $25!!! My calendar is filling up fast so if you want to take advantage of this great promotion, please call soon at 435-830-8217!

The new catalog is beautiful with so many great pictures of samples you can make! I love the new colors and other changes that have been implemented! The Summer Mini Catalog has one month left so if there was something you wanted from it, don't hesitate to order. I've had a sneak peak of the Holiday mini which will come out in September and it is totally amazing!

I went to Convention last week and came back with so many ideas. I will be sharing many of these ideas at my two clubs. My Tooele Club is every other month and My Aurora club is once a quarter. I could use a few more members in each of these clubs. If you want more info about club, please email me or leave a comment on here!

I am also motivated to do more workshops. My goal is to do at least 2 workshops a month. If you can help me reach my goal, please call me! I would love to come and have fun with you and your friends and help you all make a simple, but nice card and share a cool technique!

Thanks for being great friends and customers and for helping me spread the word about my fun job! I love it and want to share it with you too!

P.S. You can download catalogs from the Stampin' Up! website at www.stampinup.com or you can purchase one for $9.95 plus S&H OR you can receive one for free by hosting a workshop!

More updated info

Hey Stampers,

I learned some more information for you. First, there will be 5 instead of 6 "In Colors" introduced in the new catalog and they will stay for TWO years instead of one. They will have 5 more new "In Colors" introduced next year as well and they will stay around for TWO years also. So, the "In Colors" will overlap making it so there will be TEN "In Colors" available at one time (starting next year with the introduction of the second set of "In Colors" of course!) This makes me very happy to get to have them for TWO years.

Now that a week has gone by since this news broke, I really have to say that I'm so very excited for the change. Summer can't come fast enough for me! I went through all of my current colors and decided that there are only 3 or 4 out of the 31 that I'm going to stock up a little on. I really won't miss the other 27 or 28 that are going away. In fact, I'm waiting until June before I decide to stock up on anything because I want to see if any of the "In Colors" will be close to those 3 or 4 that I like.

There will be a tool called a "Color Coach" that I want to invest in. Let me try to describe it to you. Basically there are a bunch of sample cards of the colors (kind of like going to get the paint sample cards at the hardware store) and on the back of each card it gives you a few ideas of which colors to combine together to make stunning projects. They come on a ring that you can remove so you can lay them out next to each other and see what appeals to you. I'm not sure how much the color coach will cost yet, but I will be getting one!

I will post more info as I learn it! Keep Stampin'!

Stampin' Up! Color Renovation

On Tuesday, April 6, Stampin' Up! announced to Demonstrators that there will be a change in the Color Line with the new Catalog and Idea Book this July. There will be 4 new "Color Collections" instead of the 4 Color Families and Neutral family that they have currently. There will also be 6 "In Colors" announced at that time. Every 3 to 5 years, Stampin' Up! Refreshes their color line to be up-to-date with the most current popular colors!

At first I was shocked and a little devastated to learn that 31 colors (all but 1 from the "Bold Brights" family) will be retiring. But, after studying the new colors, I am starting to fall in love with them! I will try to send a flyer about them. I was jumping up and down when I found out that Baja Breeze (my all time favorite) was returning and that one of this year's "In Colors," Rich Razzleberry was staying! Love those two colors.

Because so many colors are retiring, I wanted to let you know right away so that you have almost 3 months to stock up on them before they are gone. If you already have a collection of the retiring colors, you will still be able to use them because they will coordinate nicely with the new colors. For myself, there are several retiring colors that I, will need to stock up on before I tearfully say goodbye to them!

I am very excited and can't wait to get my hands on the new colors! I will keep you updated as I receive further announcements from Stampin' Up! And, I will try to let you know if supplies become low on the retiring color products.

Love new Occasions Mini

Hey friends,
If you haven't received your Occasions Mini Catalog or Sale A Bration brochure yet you can go to the customer website and download them. Tooele club members, I have yours and will have to get them to you as soon as I can. Aurora club members had club at the end of December and got to have a try at using many of the new products. Tooele club members, your turn will be coming here soon. I will post pictures of the 3 projects that we will be completing.
During Sale A Bration you can choose a free item from the brochure with every $50 you spend. I love this time of year where you can earn so many cute things. This promotion lasts through March 31st and we will most likely hold 2 clubs during that time so you can earn several products.
I'm looking to do more workshops aside from clubs, so if you know of anyone interested during this promotion, it is the best time. I'm also looking to get at least one more club going. I have a few customers interested in doing a Quarterly Club up here in Tooele. I need at least 6 to get one started.
Call me if you want to host a workshop or want to join my Quarterly or every other month Tooele Clubs. Happy New Year and Happy Stampin'!

About Me

My photo
I definitely have an artistic side and love to express my self through music, and paper crafting. I have been a musician since I was a toddler when I first displayed a love of singing and playing the piano. I have taught Piano Lessons for over 20 years now and have enjoyed all of my students over the years. I just signed up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in March of this year (2009) and have loved every minute of it. I hope to be a demonstrator for a long time so I can share ideas with you, my friends!
